Finding email addresses is a constant pain point in the Sourcing world. Sometimes you find the exact candidate you are looking for, but you’re lacking one tiny piece of information...

The infamous email address.

Our Data team have recently done some deep analysis of the best email finder tools that are on the market at the moment so we thought we would update our list!

Here is our top 10:

1. Adapt

Adapt Prospector works on both LinkedIn and Websites and makes it easy finding the email addresses with their Chrome Plugin. You need to have a business email address to be able to sign up but they do offer a free trial. It's a bit pricey at a $49 a month for 500 contacts but definitely worth it for the accuracy of their data.

2. ContactOut

ContactOut offers a 30-day trial where you get 50 free credits per day but you do need to have a business email address in order to sign up. This company is great at finding personal emails and phone numbers. This email finding tool triple verifies and has a 97% accuracy rating. ContactOut claims their extension can find a personal email for 65% of the Western World and is used by 30% of the Fortune 500.

3. GetEmail (Work only)

Although this email finder is best suited for corporate email addresses it is definitely worth having. You can get a free subscription where you get 10 credits per month or sign up for $49 per month which gives you 300 credits per month.

4. Improver

We love this tool here in Visage, it finds personal emails addresses which we all love! You can get this email finder for free (10 credits per month) or if you want a bit more bang for your buck why not upgrade to their premium package for $80 per month for 500 credits there’s also a $15 option and $30 so I think there’s something for everyone at Improver however you do need to have a business email address in order to sign up.

5. Kendo

Kendo helps you find and verify business and personal email addresses. This is by far one of the better-priced email finder tools, you can get 600 credits for $14 a month!!! Our Sourcing Community are huge fans of this one! You DO NOT need a business email address to sign up to this platform, you can use your own private email address so extra points for this!!

6. Lusha

With this one you get 5 free credits a month, plans start as low as $29/mo (when billed annually) It allows you to find personal emails. For many candidates, it also provides a phone number. You will need a business email address.

7. Nymeria

Plans start as little as $9/month with a limit of 1,000 emails. This one is also a chrome extension that helps to find emails on LinkedIn. You will need a business email address to sign up.

8. SignalHire

SignalHire is one of the more expensive tools out there but it does produce fantastic results and you can get a free monthly subscription which gives you 5 credits, you will need a business email address to sign up to this tool so we recommend only use this for the really really hard to find email addresses.

9. Swordfish

Swordfish connects to over 200 network partners to bring you accurate contact information. They offer a free trial of 10 credits and plans start from $39 a month for 50 credits and goes to $99 per month for 150 credits, you will need a business email to sign up - A bit expensive but definitely worth the money as it’s accuracy is spot on!

10. ZoomInfo

A new tool to the market but already proving to have some great results. More suited to a corporate subscription than an individual.

Finally don’t forget about Google

Yes! Good old Google. You go to Google for everything else, why not to find email addresses.

Here are some search strings you can use:

  • [name] + email (or) email address

  • [name] + contact (or) contact information (or) contact me

  • site:companywebsite.com + [name] + email

  • site:companywebsite.com + [name] + contact

I hope these help in your search for the perfect candidate!
