How to review a profile
To review profiles, click the green arrow under "New" profiles on your job page.
This will open the Profile Review page, where you can:
See all profiles pending review.
See profile details that are parsed from the profile's CV (Links to professional websites, Resumes, Summary, Total years of experience, Work experiences, Educations, Skills, and Languages).
Leave optional review feedback for the Visage Sourcing AI, which will be taken to fine-tune the search criteria.
Take action on the profiles one by one or in bulk (Contact, Save, Discard, or Move to another job).
Mark a profile as “Benchmark” for the AI to look for similar candidates in the next batches.
Understanding what each action implies
After reviewing the profile, you can provide feedback and select one of the following options:
Action | Intended Use (What you do) | System Logic (What happens next) |
Contact | Reach out to candidates who are a strong match directly through the Visage App. We recommend using the Visage AI Personalized outreach or customizing the default template before sending. | Visage will only initiate the email outreach between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM in the candidate's timezone, including weekends. Emails scheduled outside of those hours will be automatically sent at 2:00 PM the following day. |
Save | Use this option for candidates you need further time to assess or want to consider later. We recommend adding a private note detailing the profile's pros and cons to aid your decision within a day or two. | These candidates can be later contacted in bulk or individually. |
Discard | Use this for candidates who are definitely not a good fit for your role. Use the "What do you think?" section to provide feedback for the AI to improve the next batch. | You have the option to mark a candidate as “Not quite right” or as “Totally irrelevant,” depending on your quality assessment. |
Move to another job | Use this when a candidate isn't right for the current role but might be a great fit for another position on your team. We recommend adding a note explaining why the profile is a good fit before moving them. | Only candidates that have not been disposed of (Contacted, Saved, or Discarded) can be moved. Ensure you move the profile before selecting any other action. |
💡 What if a candidate was previously contacted in a different job on the Account?
After a period of 6 months, a candidate already contacted in a previous job could be submitted once more for a different opportunity.
This might happen if you have posted a similar job in terms of the skills and location.
When it does, you will have an additional bubble of information in the right panel, informing you when this candidate was contacted, for which job, and by which team member.
This will give you the chance to decide if you really want to contact this candidate again, or not.
