Providing accurate feedback is essential for maintaining and improving the quality of candidates you receive. Your input directly feeds our AI and enhances the search strategy.
Key Principle: The AI can only search for criteria that are explicitly written in the job description, must-haves, or the job chat. Information such as industry requirements, specific competitors, or companies to avoid must be included in one of these sections.
Here is a detailed explanation of the methods you can use to provide feedback:
1. Adjusting the Job Requirements
Job requirements are often dynamic; on average, a Visage job is updated 3.5 times after its initial posting.
Ask yourself these questions after reviewing profiles:
Do the majority of the profiles match the necessary experience level?
Is the position truly offering relocation or remote flexibility? Is that reflected in the sourcing locations?
Are any nice-to-haves actually critical must-haves, or vice versa?
To modify your requirements:
Go to the job you would like to edit.
Click on the "About the job" section.
Click the "Edit Details" button to make any necessary changes to the requirements.
2. Provide feedback on specific profiles
If you have specific feedback, leave it in the "What is your feedback on this profile?" section of the candidate card.
This section is ideal for:
Highlighting benchmark profiles (candidates you love).
Identifying specific companies to target or work experience the AI Sourcing should focus on.
3. Chat with the Operations team
Use the job chat to communicate general questions or sourcing thoughts directly with the Visage team.
The Operations team will use the job chat to contact you with suggestions on how to edit the qualifications to expand your candidate pool or if they need clarification.
This information is also taken by the AI Sourcing engine and later included in the sourcing criteria.
To access the job chat, click on the "Help" button located in the bottom right corner of the page, or look for the "Discuss with our Sourcing Team " button on the review page.
4. Rate your last batch of profiles
After you've reviewed 20 profiles, you will be prompted to rate your satisfaction.
This is where you provide directional feedback to the AI Sourcing engine.
Your satisfaction rating and any related comments will automatically be posted in the job chat.
Utilizing Private Notes in Visage
Visage offers the Private Notes feature to help you keep track of candidates as they move through the pipeline. These notes are only visible to you and your team.
How you can use Private Notes:
Interview Preparation: Jot down thoughts about their interviews, next steps, or feedback you'd like to share with your hiring manager.
Team Collaboration: If you are sourcing for a teammate, use notes to explain why you think a profile is a great match.
Time Off/Backup: Notes ensure your teammates have all the necessary context to manage your pipeline while you are away.
