Key Recommendation
Visage emphasizes the importance of double-checking the criteria before launching the role. This could involve:
Including a benchmark profile.
Changing nice-to-haves to the must-haves section, or vice versa.
Including any additional requirement not initially listed, perhaps a Language proficiency or a particular Industry to target.
Adding any companies to avoid/exclude accordingly.
Verifying the years of experience range.
This is crucial for obtaining good and relevant results from the sourcing technology.
Update The Criteria If Needed
1. Customize The Years Of Experience Range
Select the years of relevant experience you would like to source for this position. Our AI will automatically filter out candidates who do not meet the selected criteria.
Use "minimum" to indicate the minimum required years of experience for the role and "maximum" to specify the upper limit of years of experience. This will ensure that we only source candidates who fit the desired level of seniority.
2. Update the Must-have or Nice-to-have Requirements
Choose up to 5 required experiences per section, in the Must Haves prioritize technical skills, certificates, or degrees for your ideal candidate.
We recommend removing any soft-skills from this list as it’s not usually found on CVs or public profiles such as LinkedIn profiles.
This list will be the base for the AI to search for candidate that match the criteria.
The Nice-to-have are optional, you can either leave it empty or include a few requirements depending on your needs.
3. Double-check Your Sourcing Locations
You can select where the potential candidates will work from: on-site, hybrid, or remote only.
If on-site or hybrid are selected, an office location will be required. Fill in the office location first, and then there will be another section for including different areas you wish candidates to come from.
The Locations to source from can include cities, states, entire countries or continents. Depending on the selection, you will also be required to pick the search radius in miles/kms.
This feature is very useful specially when the pool is limited in certain locations, the company is open to offer a relocation package, or the cities are close to each other.
Keep in mind the candidates will have to agree to commuting distances, relocating, or might request for a better solution in terms of the remote working mode.
If Remote only is selected, include the specific locations, time zones, and others you wish to source for this role. This option targets the search based on your location or time preference.
Keep in mind that when you are picking a time zone’s range, this will include all the countries within those time zones, not only certain countries.
4. Add a Benchmark Profile
The profile uploaded in this field will be used by the AI sourcing technology and the Operations Support team as an example to follow when sourcing or including additional guidance in the job posting.
You can add a benchmark profile by adding the ideal’s candidate resume or LinkedIn profile.
If you don't have a benchmark profile for the role you’re sourcing, you can also benchmark profiles that Visage has sourced for you by clicking on the “heart” icon under the profile review section.
5. Set Your Company Priorities & Restrictions for Sourcing
Company to source from is where you can share your preferred companies for the AI to target. This will offer the technology a guidance of the ideal profile, competitors, and the industry you want Visage to focus on.
Usually this list is used as a suggested direction, and the candidates sourced could either work in the company in the current experience, past jobs, or a very similar company.
⚠️ Whenever you want Visage to be non-flexible with this requirement, would have to be included under the must-haves and not only in this section.
Companies not to sorce from is where you will list any companies or organizations that you are not allowed to target candidates from.
Visage AI will automatically block any profiles currently working on these companies, however, if the candidate has worked for that company in the past, it would go through.
⚠️ Whenever you want Visage to be non-flexible with this requirement, would have to be included under the must-haves and not only in this section.
You are also able to set the company restrictions in your Sourcing settings page.
This will automatically populate the list for all new job postings on your Account, saving time in the future.
